great staff but room needs attention
The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to accommodate us. The meals were consistently fantastic, especially the Sunday roast which truly impressed us.
The room could have benefited from a more thorough tidy-up.

Good for a solo getaway
Had a nice meal at the pub downstairs, beer battered fish which was completely on point, service was quick too. The staff were genuinely friendly, one even took the time to recommend a local ale that was pretty decent.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but considering the location and nearby attractions, it was acceptable.

The room was small and overlooked a roof, which wasn’t great. I could hear the traffic from the dual carriageway all night, making it hard to sleep. The heater was there, but they said we had to turn it off if we left, so, like, what’s the point? But, at least it was clean enough. Not super comfy though.

Delicious food and friendly service
We had a lovely stay with prompt and kind service, especially when we arrived late and the staff made sure we had dinner quickly. The food was truly delicious, and the breakfast was well-cooked and hearty with plenty of options. One minor improvement could be ensuring the heating in the rooms is adequate upon arrival.

Nice location but pricey drinks
Had a mixed experience here. The vibe is cozy, and the place has a nice charm. My mum loved it! But seriously, I was hit with a crazy bill for my drinks. Don't get me started on the cocktail prices!
